Healdsburg Collision Center was founded in 1996 by Lee Plato
Lee has been working on cars since junior high school. His dad owned a service station and Lee would help out after school, and like his dad, he loved working with cars. His dad taught him the key skills that guide him today.
Lee studied Auto Body Repair in High school, and started sweeping the floors at a local auto body shop to learn the trade. He completed his training and earned his journeyman certification. After work he helped friends with their cars, then worked on the neighbor’s cars, and as the word spread, he realized he might be able to make a living at this on his own. He finally ran out of room in his garage and then, Lee and his wife Charlene started Healdsburg Collision Center. Since then, the business has grown from a small shop to 20,000 square feet.
“The best auto body repair team in the business.”
